Sydney came to Children's to obtain a liver transplant after being born with biliary atresia. She recently celebrated her one-year anniversary and is doing better than ever after conquering several obstacles.

Sydney not only raised awareness with her "Liver It Up" yard sign but also just held her second benefit concert to support the medical staff who saved her life. For Dr. Karpen's biliary atresia study, the 14-year-old has so far raised $13,000.
