Not long after Henry's parents matched with his birth mother, they discovered he had a unilateral cleft lip and cleft palate. Henry's parents prepared for the long journey ahead, meeting with our team of nurses, nutritionists, speech therapists, feeding specialists, audiologists and orthodontists to ensure the best treatment plan. At 3 months old—just a week after his parents officially adopted him—Henry had a successful surgery to repair his cleft lip and is proudly showing off his "forever smile."
