Hudson started suffering seizures when he was four months old, and by the time he was one, he was having over 100 seizures every day. A rare form of seizure disorder known as infantile spasms was identified in Hudson by the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Children's after his local hospital referred and transferred him there.

Hudson was put on the ketogenic diet by Dr. Holt, which is proven to benefit children with epilepsy and other seizure disorders. Hudson has now been seizure-free for almost a year and a half as a consequence!
